We were lucky enough to have Robert Edick and Stacy Owens of the Phenix Education Team visit both of our Naples locations over the last 2 days. When it comes to education, there are many tools out there to inspire and help a hairstylist stay on top of his or her game.

There's also a gazillion reasons to love education but I'll share a few things I noticed observing the four classes from the sidelines.

The first thing was the amazing comraderie between everyone involved. Although each person within Phenix Salon Suites has their own salon and works independently, there's a mutual respect that is so important and resonates within the entire property. When you get all these like-minded individuals together, it's great to see everyone all on the same team.

The next thing I loved was the openness or willingness to learn. You know we can never know it all and as talented as everyone is  in the room, they opened their minds up and just soaked it all in. I heard comments like, "the first thing out of Roberts mouth, I was like, wow!". Not sure what that means, but it sounds good to me. Also just being open to finding out about a new cutting technique or the Colour line and just giving it a shot was pretty awesome to see. Seemed like everyone had at least one or two good takeaways from the day. And that makes us want to continue to bring the Education Team to Naples.

The last thing was the passion that everyone has for their craft. Each of you are truly artists and it shows how much you care about your clients and providing them the best service and in the end, really wow-ing them with a fabulous version of themselves.

Kudos to all who were able to make it out to one of the training sessions and for those that didn't, we missed you and maybe we'll catch ya at the next one!
